Cole Hamels is one of those stellar pitchers. Last night he took on the Brewers and led his squad to another victory. He hurled 6 + innings of effective ball, allowing just six hits as he picked up his 4th win of the season. Hamels now has 51 wins to his credit.
Chad Billingsley picked up another win for the Dodgers also. It will be a little more difficult for Dodgers pitchers to get victories with triple crown threat Andre Ethier out of the lineup with his injured finger. All that being said Billingsley got the win over the Padres Wade Leblanc, despite his team picking up just two hits against the Padres starter. Chad allowed just 4 himself in pitching 7 1/3 innings of shutout ball. This was the Dodger's starters 4th win of the season and 51st of his career too.
