There is nothing like being at a live game and being part of that atmosphere.
The Blue Jays came out flying against the Yankees putting 8 runs on the board in the first inning. A combination of sloppy fielding by the Yankees and some timely hitting by the Jays carried them to victory.
The downside of the game was that Jose Bautista the league leader in HR's got hurt. He tweaked the ankle running to first base and a couple of plays later jammed his foot and rolled his ankle sliding into third base. He left the game at that time.
The big hitter of the night was Andruw Jones. The veteran launched two homeruns, the second being a monster shot. Offensively for the jays Adam Lind swung a great bat as did rookie Eric Thames who had two doubles in the first inning.
